The first day of the 2024 Euro 4 Championship concludes with the second free practice session. At Mugello Circuit, the Indian driver for US Racing set the fastest time in both of today’s sessions. After recording a 1’48.001 in the morning, Bohra once again secured the top position in the afternoon with a time of 1’48.777. Second position went to his teammate in the team led by Gerhard Ungar and Ralf Schumacher, Jack Beeton. The Australian finished with a gap of 0.178. Third place went to the Japanese driver for Prema Racing, Kean Nakamura-Berta, 0.230 behind Bohra.
In P4 was the British driver from Stratford-upon-Avon, Freddie Slater, who finished 0.

260 seconds behind, just narrowly trailing his teammate. Prema Racing drivers continued to show strong form with P5 going to Emirati Rashid Al Dhaheri at 0.414, followed by American-Jamaican Alex Powell at 0.476.
Seventh place was secured by the Japanese driver for Van Amersfoort Racing, Hiyu Yamakoshi, with a gap of 0.517. Eighth was the Italian driver for AKM Motorsport, Emanuele Olivieri, who finished 0.767 seconds behind Bohra. PHM AIX Racing’s Maksimilian Popov closely followed with a gap of 0.779, finishing in ninth. Rounding out the top 10 was Tomass Stolcermanis, the Latvian driver for Prema Racing, with a gap of 0.786.
The on-track activity ends for today for the young talents of the Euro 4 Championship, who will now focus on working with their teams and benefit from the tutoring activities of the ACI Sport Federal School. They return to the track tomorrow, Saturday, August 24, with qualifying split into two sessions (8:30 - 8:45 and 8:55 - 9:10), followed by Race 1, scheduled for 16:30. Sunday, August 25, will be the day for the remaining two races: Race 2 will take place at 8:50, while Race 3, the weekend’s grand finale, will start at 16:00. Each race will last 30 minutes plus one lap.
